You just have to love, how many fantasy manga likes to pretend, that there was even a concept of "legal" age to drink or marry in the medieval times. And what a striking coincidence, that its the same as in Japan, 18 and 16 respectively!

@evandark Actually, drinking age is 20 and marriage age is 16 for women and 18 for men. Also...this manga seems to have a hybrid age...or something. Sometimes medieval...sometimes industrial...sometimes modern...or a mix of them.

as someone living in a part of europe, where everyone legally drinks at the age of 16
(except strong liquors & alcohol, like whiskey & vodka) and doesn't have any problem whatsoever afterwards, him passing out from a bit of wine isn't just hilariously exaggerated to me, but unnecessarily stupid too.

i don't mind silly things, but isn't he supposed to be a tough boy with some hidden strength, from what we've been let known so far?
it's these sort of minor details, which sometimes just put me off from continuing to read, due to them not making sense.
