This series is fascinating, a lot more fleshed out and unique than any of the junk I usually dabble in.
In summary, there's a huge debate that's relevant to real life regarding various freedoms but especially the freedom of information, the freedom of speech and press. And how those freedoms impact other freedoms, rights and privileges like privacy and safety/security.
It's also pretty clear that racial and religious differences will be a major source of conflicts, but it definitely feels more grounded in reality than most anywhere else.
There were a few things that felt uncomfortable but I welcome most of it for forcing me to think about how it applies to real life. The one point I was less happy about it was when the scope of conflicts were clearly beyond what our main characters were ready for, and I always hate when the adults in the story have to be show having more failings so that the antagonists can be taken more seriously. And I loathe the trope of kids not being able to trust the adults. Adults are flawed people but there's a huge difference between someone who's flawed and someone who's outright trying to abuse their position and trust.

Good, great even. Gorgeous art, compelling narrative, if a little slow. Just all around really good.
It can get a bit text wall-ish at times, but the things discussed there are interesting enough that it's palatable.
I also wish we saw more of the antagonist group, I feel like their presence in the narrative is way too sparse. They had like 5 chapters to themselves so far, otherwise it's just sparse cameos from them.
