This. Plus Kohi and Mitsuki as his enforcers. Having a country destroying weapon is one thing, but if a God wants to leave a lasting impression, he can send an Angel...and those two are very good at their job. This is a world where gods are demonstrably real, and our MC and his organization have done three very public display of power. (The founding and blessing of his temple, the emissary who prepared for collective punishment, and the tower shield and laser blast.)
Also love how they give -1 INTBest girl got the nose glasses, so sad. But she would choose them on purpose.
I'm more curious about the Provocation bit, hope she isn't creating any fights lolAlso love how they give -1 INT
Is it Provocation 💢I'm more curious about the Provocation bit, hope she isn't creating any fights lol
IMO:This is a world where gods are demonstrably real, and our MC and his organization have done three very public display of power. (The founding and blessing of his temple, the emissary who prepared for collective punishment, and the tower shield and laser blast.)
If someone is still doubting the news about him by now, you can only conclude that they willfully chose ignorance. Let fools be fools indeed, but one fool should be enough. At this stage, the two soldiers should know to choose their lives and that of their fellow countrymen over the orders of a stupid duke's son who's shooting far above his station. Because divine punishment might not be limited to the individuals at fault.
I agree. That's why I excused him for not knowing that he's acting out of line right in front of the god of this temple.IMO:
- Kousuke doesn’t normally exert his divinity. In fact, he trains to hide it so he can roam around in public. He’s also not really an imposing, godlike figure, and looks average-joe-ish.
- This dumbfuck’s from another continent. Doubt he knows how Kousuke looks like, considering Kousuke’s not keen to have a statue of him on the temple.
- You underestimate human stupidity and pride.
Kid’s prolly one of those guys that always gets bailed out by his dad or his “son of duke” position. So like a street thug who’ve never faced the consequences, he think he can do anything. Like a barbarian.I agree. That's why I excused him for not knowing that he's acting out of line right in front of the god of this temple.
That said, he doesn't need to know that Kousuke is right here to know that it's a bad idea to fight in his temple.
He's the son of a high ranking noble (nothing above duke except for outright royalty).
Even if he's evil and arrogant, stupidity and incompetence should have their limits. Your nobility is at stake if you don't know who and how to fight. He might have some chance in a political battle, but straight-up violence in the temple of a god able to obliterate cities and foreign fleets is definitely not recommended.
If he didn't know about those shows of force, he's too dumb to deserve his (future) rank. The least you should do before picking a fight is knowing your opponent and choosing the proper venue. Instead, he's acting like a street thug.
If he knew but didn't believe, he should take some time to confirm the information. Given that temples and foreign armies have been involved, it shouldn't be too difficult.
Mostly the Angels.... Their last little exercise dealt with some idiots merely smacktalking their Boss..This. Plus Kohi and Mitsuki as his enforcers.
