@Teruru It's literally 1985. People are still shaken up about the war. Remember how Japan was in the war longer than Germany?

Also, fucken hell, it's obvious people wouldn't let a non-german lead a revolution group, in a Germany.

@Wilhelm_Stenvall so germans are super racists to not even let a half (if the immigrant is his parent) or quarter or eighth lead their revolution? i mean, look, he has blonde hair, so most probably he has german genes in him too. Like i said in the other one, the author only said he is a japanese descendant. He didn’t say anything how far ago that ancestor came to germany. Even if it’s just the parent, we could also say the japanese is either the mom or dad married to a german and not both of them are japanese to label him as non-german. And it could be possible that maybe his german parent/ancestor was part or even the former leader of the revolution, which gives him a reason to become the leader of the said group. As this is just the first chapter, saying the author is questionable as a person for having his character just have a japanese ancestry is just being meh.

P.s. i’m not really defending the manga, i just find it weird that you guys think it’s impossible for one guy who happens to have a mixed blood lead a revolution when we don’t even know how much japanese blood he has -.-

the identity of fremder was so predictable it isn't even funny, overall seems like this could be very interesting though

It shouldn't really surprise anyone that this is playing fast and loose with history. Just like a ton of other manga, the author thought something looked or sounded cool and only did surface level research on Wikipedia then extrapolated out his ass.

Like, I don't even care about the Japanese dude being the leader of a party; I'm just waiting to see how long it takes for this mangaka to jump face first into Nazi fetishism and war crime apologia.

@Teruru Oh, so it's super racist now, to not like someone? It's super racist to not want someone, from another country, to lead a REVOLUTION, in your own country? A political group is one thing, a REVOLUTION is another. A revolution will change the entire country, potentially the entire world, it's not like a political party at all. Stop it with your oversensitivity.

Also, just like how we don't know what blood he has, the germans don't know either.

Wilhelm_stenvall Pfft, wow, aren’t you the sensitive one? Or you aren’t thinking at all when you read? like i said, why are you guys judging him as somone ‘not from their country’ or not ‘german’ when no matter how you look at it, he doesn’t look japanese at all which means he is most probably at least half. YOU’RE JUST JUDGING HIM UNFIT JUST BECAUSE THE AUTHOR SAID HE HAS JAPANESE BLOOD. It’s like you didn’t even read at all. Another point is He has said he had only visited japan ONCE so it’s easy to say he lived ALL his life in germany, no matter how i see it, he’s a fucking german national even if he is not a purebred german. And that his age most likely be at least 20-30, might even be more than that. That’s plenty enough to make a lot connections or whatnot if you’re an activist. And another one is that they are also an activist pushing for democracy, which I don’t think would put that much on how pure bred he is.

@Wilhelm_Stenvall oh and, since it looks like you didn’t understand the sarcasm in my last comment, let me make it clear. The ‘super racist’ isn’t really about the germans. It’s actually aimed for you, but it seems you didn’t get it -.-

Odd, are Anna and her buddy NVA?

Given the setting you'd expect enhanced humans assigned to wetwork duty to be Stasi, not regular army officers.

@OniBarubary Why would it jump into nazi fetishism and war crime apologia? From what I can tell MC is working for the government to counter domestic terrorism/a revolution, and the antagonist is trying to cause said revolution. So far, no war has happened and, assuming this doesn't take any further leaps from history, won't happen in the future either.

I see no signs of either side having anything to do with national socialists either. Their 'prime' time should have ended some 40 years before the setting of this comic.
