Very mid story right now, even supposed hype moment like this fall flat cause everything is rush and every character got no build up even the mc. I guess I supposed to feel sad for the mei kid but ngl the villain is too cartoony evil which makes the parent death feel like a comedy which Idk how tf the writer achieved this.

Too much cliche and shonen trope on full display too, wow bond of friendship and shouting yey!!! Even the power concept in this story ain’t that original which is okay if there is something interesting mix in between but so far it just recycling other shonen manga power one after the other without pause.

As of writing, this manga got 200 ch so I hope the writing got improved.

Edit: I have now read this manga until chapter 120 and gotta say the next arc from this chapter is okay, but the arc right after that goes back to the generic bullshit being pulled here, so yeah, it ain’t getting better writing lul.
