Tube foxes, in a way, are a tad similar to the fables of the viper and the farmer, or the frog and the scorpion, just a tad though.
From Kudamaki's perspective, she's an existence separate, perhaps superior, to her master. Whether a boon or a curse, never quite on the same level. Iizunamaru, however, is someone not only keenly aware of her nature, but not only accepts, but desires her. On top of that, Iizunamaru is someone both confident and competent enough to not become reliant on Kudamaki's power, nor foolish enough to be susceptible to her ploys. Even declaring to drag them both down upon Kudamaki's inevitable betrayal. There's such a wonderfully ecstastic romanticism to an intimacy like that that's just so, so nice.
While I haven't yet played UM, this is a top-tier paring based just on this doujin alone.
