Gotta love ZUN's writing! This is some the only canonical fanservice in the entirety of Touhou (besides Reimu's armpits) and its more incidental to the story than anything else.

What a chapter... if part one (chap 11) was all about the Genbu Revine (the exterior of it, mostly), this one..focuses on the event itself..!
I honestly thought the title (pseudo-dragon) was supposed to reference the deity that the Kappa are worshipping, the unnamed water dragon from Ibarakasen, but oh well! So Piece's Lifeforce manipulating torch just so happened to turn the genbu ravine's water into a dragon?
Marisa was REALLY generous to pay for everyone (three fairies and Piece) to go canyoning! Reimu could never..
That said, yet another instance of Nitori's shady business was shown. Peer pressuring Marisa into paying money to experience canyoning down the flooded genbu ravine... "I will guarantee your safety, we are friends"...

Last thing, I recall my statement. It wasnt known Last chapter, but Last comment, I said that its due to thr weather that the genbu ravine was flooded. It seems that it was due to the Kappa themselves, as Nitori states that they can control the currents, thus, to flood the genbu ravine or not.
And hey! They made big bucks. Good for the kappa! (The fairies gang sure was terrified unlike Piece lmfao. How is a hell fairy not immune to the heat of Earth?!?!?)
