On that note on the credits page. The lightning rod isn't just a spike on the building, it has a connection to the earth. You can see the cable on the panels where Marisa buried the offering.
Also, as others pointed out, why is the resolution so small? It's not even half of the usual pages.

This chapter is great. Reimu's using superstition to peddle her solution while Sanae's using science, and both end in a funny kind of syncretism, all the while Marisa is in the forest slowly becoming a youkai a grizzled hunter (and she has a gun).

Shame it's in 144p tho.

I think whatever happened here isn't on the uploader, it's on the website - the chapter isn't displayed at all in the chapter list of the manga itself, think it's just a bug.
That said, a reupload would probably also be the fastest way to fix it

Umbrellas barely make you more susceptible to lighting. Considering Gensokyo is a well forested area, it's far more likely to hit a tree or a building than an umbrella. Especially for a kid who wouldn't even be taller than an adult with an umbrella, Sanae was just being a dick there.
