Was not expecting to see the cast from T17 drawn by this artist, but they all look really good

So basically, Reimu is never going to stay a human if things ever develop. She is straying from the path of humanity, with no guarantee if it is youkai or god that she is turning into, and Keiki still wants to turn her into a haniwa.

Keiki talking about how human died quickly and wanting to give Reimu an undying body reminds me of the interview with ZUN in which he compared to "Keiki talking about destroying the flesh body of the heroines and making a new one from soil and water" to "making cyborgs". Pretty weird comparison, I would say.

Oh man, wbawc people! That's rare.

Given the artist and all, this feels really very much like canon, even if I know it isn't really.

I didn't expect the cast from Th17 would appear in this chapter.

And I am still wondering if this is canon , feels canon , also counting the fact that Azmaya is also known for the official works of Wild and Horned Hermit.

Yep, it's non-canon. This and a few other recent running series are part of a little project or something (of which ZUN is a part of) to host fanworks on a website. The Satori manga is the only one on that site (currently) that is canonical.

Komachi being doubtful about or concerned with people dying is pretty out of character--not that she doesn't care about humans. She clearly does: she warns about potential death and she visits the world of the living often, but she also speaks of death very casually and is evidently very, very comfortable with the idea of people dying. She probably wouldn't save a human life, or sincerely worry about people dying. People die every day, and she ferries them.

Not that I dislike this take! But it's certainly not an ordinary Komachi. In canon the only times she's been legitimately upset have been when souls, not living people, are being destroyed or manipulated. She goes all the way to Tenshi when she's gathering souls in SWR, and suspects her later in WaHH when she shows up. After all, souls that are destroyed don't "die". They aren't "killed", they're obliterated, never to be reincarnated again. She also warns Kasen about her destroying vengeful spirits early in WaHH, saying Hell won't take kindly to such actions.

@DeadintheWater I doubt Reimu would actually accept those offers, her being a Hakurei and all. Plus, she has Yukari on her side. The gap hag is arguably the strongest person there since she has the power to get them out of Gensokyo

@Swifft I guess it's a different thing. The dead she talks to is already dead while the one in front of her doesn't. I guess it kinda makes sense that she has close relation with human more than others since she talks to them every day too.
