The problem seems to be there are several of them now, not just one, and on much lower floor then the one fought before. Also some one fucked up if they weren't prepared for this.

Her tube clearly comes out of her butt. She's a necromancer who took over that body, and her armor is also quite old, like one of the soldiers noticed when making small talk. She doesn't seem to be hostile though, at least so far.

I think she herself is also a necromancer, and she is eating her own larvae in order to avoid spreading necromites of her own

She either is related to the necromancer in some way and wants to stop him, wants revenge for turning her into what she is now, could have been saved by the royal family from extinction for whatever reason and now wants to repay them by saving the princess / stopping the necromancer... or a mix of all them.

Some of the basilisks break the statues and then kill themselves so that all the now non-stone people die and then in comes the necromite larva to make an undead army

Still dunno if they are humanoids who have that ability and reproduce by ass worms or they are actual parasites who take over human bodies to gain sapience like the Goa'uld

She could be probably a peaceful sect of necromancers who joined up to fight the evil ones who brought their race to ruin.
or an old undead who joined up to take revenge on the one that turned her.

Probably her special powers or shes some kind of chimera human. Its so long too. Does it retract itself or she wrap it like a whip or just stuff it in her armor? Just filling the leg and torso armour piece space?
