Although I think the rape scene is a bit to quick (and in a way to much) to pull up, I like this author (at least trying) to approach the answer to “what would happen with you suddenly genders?” in a realistic way...

Gotta love the sexual assault trope and asinine drama it brings.

It really highlights the lack of pacing, original ideas, character development and story telling. How is it only 4 chapters in and nothing noteworthy has happened. This is like when that cleaning manga got axed and had the last chapters introduce rape.

The only character who is remotely interesting is yamagishi. Ikea and yuka are completely flat characters summed up in "childhood friend" and "sad & gay" when you look past the shock value of self-harm and gender identity that's shallowly used.

Is there a single original idea in this author's head that hasn't been executed better than others? He's better off making a gyaru isekai if he's going to half ass and shoehorn drama in.

From someone who reads a lot of gender bender manga, I'm impressed.

All of the tropes are covered but in painful and realistic ways.

For example, in a lot of gb stories the transformed protagonist gets assaulted and is saved by the love interest in some bizzare instant of luck. But here there's no random stroke of luck like that. The protag also tries to hide the gender change and is usually safe. But in reality it's hard to mask a change like that, so the truth is discovered early on.

to people criticizing for the tropes, you knew what you were getting into, the previous chapters should have made it clear that this will have exaggeration and over dramatization sometimes bordering the worst case scenarios such as men being all filled with sex in their mind. Stop saying as if its a korean/japanese thing, tropes exists everywhere. If youre still not convinced thats the case, then do yourself a favor and just stop reading, i assume it'll just get worse as we progress. Its like complaining how shounen has dumb action scenes when its literally what theyre most about.
