So, literally only making this because I got this issue just now, I've never made a thread and I couldn't find a search feature showing whether or not this has been posted before but -

As uncommon as it may be, sometimes a scanlator will upload 20+ chapters in one go, and while that's usually so uncommon it's a non-issue, today it was literally a page and a half of uploads

So, I'd like to propose the following feature - when a scanlator batch uploads content (in this case, over 'x' amount of chapters for a single title), display the first and last upload with an in-between letting the user know [y] amount of chapters in between were also uploaded

Seriously, this is obnoxious:

(all the way down to chapter 58 or so).

But why?

If you don’t want to see Spanish, just hide it.

@Occu While this may occur sometimes, it's quite rare. MangaDex is a new site. Eventually we'll get to the point where batch uploads become a thing of the past and the only new updates will be new releases.

And if you haven't set up your language filters, would also recommend doing so.

@acs87 But I do want to see them. I have language preferences set up for spanish and english scanlations.

@Plykiya I get where you're coming from - that said, it'd also apply anytime a license expires (e.g. the viz(? tokyowhatever? idr) translations, they'd also probably get dumped in large batches, afaik.

and yeah, this is within my language filters.

Either way, it's just a suggestion after all. No harm done if not considered.

@occu Yeah, that's true. Although license expirations are quite rare nowadays in the land of digital reading, they're starting to keep their works published on Amazon and such
