Author managed to do an SA scene relatively well and without turning into an H director. This same fella then turns around and plays off the unit's rookie getting gangraped cause "male gay secks funni, haha, bro got railroaded, lmao, lolz". Nvm the probably unintended subtext implying that the guy was sex trafficked by his squad-mates to get a discount from the prostitutes on top of it. Bruh.

These authors, even when actually coming out with something half decent, are just incapable of writing isekai without shooting their stories in the dick in the process.

And for those that assume I'm being PC here or whatever, the problem I'm having with this is how the event was framed as a gag, not that it happened, geez.

Can't believe this is the first manga im commenting on but i think its really funny how many people are comparing the obviously anti war manga this is to the "war is badass" other isekai.

Realistically this didn't need to be an isekai at all and would probably have been stronger without it. Also the manga may or may not be the author's barely disguised fetishes. It's not a particularly good manga, but comparisons to youjo senki are nonsensical since it's clearly not attempting to send the same messages.

This is the dumbest thing anyone has ever written, and I've read Invisible dragon. Sending the same message huh? Is this not an isekai where the character is sent to war in magic germany as a female child? Oh it is? Well I guess they can't possibly compare to the other isekai where a character is sent to war in magic germany as a female child because they don't tell the exact same story.

Kinda late but this story in WN is actually fire and peak. It escapes the youjo senki copy allegations and lands in the same tier of story.

At best it just explains MC's reaction speed. Obvious logic fail of not asking for a gun on the Frontline only partially addressed recently when she gets a dinky wind gun to deflect grenades.

MC has literally no agency even their training is all reactionary (e.g. gets sent on mad sprint on frontlines and is largely dead weight due to lack of stamina. Gets basic combat training after frontlines? Wtf. Taught shield wrong doesn't minmax the hell out of it/request training from combat vets, ally gets blown up because of it. Gets trained after failing. Etc etc)

Novel reader here to point out things the manga doesn't explain, or things that you might have missed. Some will sound very stupid but it is what is is

Medics do not have weapons because healing magic is rare.

Spoiler: Why

Before guns were invented some genius decided to make healers into cavalry and failed so horribly that they banned all future medics from arming themselves in fear of losing valuable healers.

MC has not been trained before because she is a volunteer and a medic. Medics stay in the back lines and do not go to the front lines, however because Garback needed a medic MC got sent to the front lines without any prior training until she is transfered into their platoon.

Medics that hasn't seen combat taught MC shield which is why when she utilized it for real combat, it was faulty and and wrong, Garback only taught her afterwards because he had no prior knowledge that she knew how to use shield.

The pro FPS player part becomes relevant way later in the story, where she becomes a little psychotic.

After a lot of time she is no longer a medic and has access to guns, at that point she is an ace that is well known for being a "lucky carry" and laughing maniacally while killing people with scary precision. Did I mention she hear voices telling her to kill?

Can any Ln readers confirm whether MC goes all the way with anyone? Just personally don't want to keep up with reading it if mc does. I know it almost happens on ch8 but besides that it seems clear manga wise.
