The person actually says "It's because I like the Mode style!" Mode refers to a particular recent fashion trend in Japan, but might also refer to trendy styles in general. I translated it into something generic instead to maintain the flow of the story. Regardless, that person is clearly up-to-date with the latest trends!

On the first page the author says, 'I draw and post a manga called "I am Yuzuki-kun, who became TS" as a hobby.' She's referring to 'My TS best friend (former boy) Yuzuki-kun' which she apparently updates daily and has over 700 pages. Warning: frequent adult content!

Not always and a lot of gender swapping manga don't show them having gender dysphoria after they change

Gender is a spectrum and I count the characters that are still happy without gender dysphoria signs in gender swap manga as either trans, gender non conforming or somewhere along the gender spectrum.

I do prefer gender bender manga that does explore gender identity themes while explicitly stating it or exploring or without explicitly stating it that goes further than the surface level gender bend
