This whole thing is very funny, it's like a onion with layers.

Layer 0. You have a middle school manga girl wearing a possibly skimpy swimsuit on the beach with her cousin.
Layer 1. The middle school character is actually a former adult man planning out super Omega-NTR.
Layer 2. Manga artist/publisher puts a censor bar on part of the swimsuit. Presumably to induce thirsty readers to buy manga volumes.
Layer 3. You have a bunch of people(many, perhaps most of whom I am sure are adults) complaining they can't see a middleschool manga girl in a possibly skimpy swimsuit.
Layer 4. Having the censor bar there generates more thirst than if there were none at all and it was just treated like a kid wearing a swimsuit.(Not entirely dissimilar to the difference between underwear and swimsuits to begin with.)
Layer 5. The people thirst heavily enough for the full swimsuit they rejoice when someone takes minutes/hours of their time to redraw the panels to undo, so they can see a middle school manga girls full swimsuit.
Layer 6. All of this is taking place in a NTR type manga, a genre which itself is largely adult content. The setup also intends to execute its climax with characters who will be underage.
Layer 7. The main readers for manga are semi-questionable. Underage readers about questionable content, adult readers reading about underage characters doing questionable content.
Layer 8. The manga is actually likely a subversion of the NTR trope/genre.
Layer 9. This whole thing revolves around a adult man with the appearance of a teen girl, who is deranged and creepy as hell if you recognize this fact(grooming/manipulating numerous kids).
Layer 10. We are all reading this story despite it all.


All in all it is very amusing the censorship was done at all(it's dumb). Literally one of those swimsuit short skirts would've had the exact same coverage and effect, a black bar is wholly unnecessary except to bait desperate thirst(unless it is meant to be parody of sorts). But at the same time people being so passionate against it, so they can see a fictional 13 yr olds swimsuit is also dumb.

I'm not really being super serious, I just find the humor in this all. I'm just here still because of morbid curiosity how the incoming crash will happen.(and hope the subversion actually happens and it has a good ending)
