Interesting, in my point of view this chapter was toying with ships that could've happen in another timeline with different circumstances:
Fumi before meeting Akatsuki x Goroi (MC's best bro) if she went to live in Goroi's house instead of Akatsuki's
and Akatsuki before meeting Fumi x this new girl who seems to be following Fumi's same steps, but she don't impress him, since Fumi already took that place in his heart.
