Why does the ending feel so abrupt?

While QCing this chapter i just couldnt help but feel that this manga kinda had an abrupt ending, i mean there was still the semi-finals match and still more left with the graduations etc. But oh well i hope atleast thoose that sticked around till the end somewhat enjoyed it.

I agree that the ending was abrupt, but if I'm honest with myself I'm glad it's finally wrapped up. It felt like the author struggled with keeping it interesting towards the end of this series.

The ending is not bad, but imo the series is at its best somewhere in the middle, then gets worse towards the end.
