It's just sad seeing the three not be the sort of friends that they could probably have been in another timeline.

Thank you for the chapter

Haruta expresses his feelings of guilt to Director Mitsuba of him being the only one knowing of their unnatural bodies.
Surprisingly, if either Izumi or Ichika find out about each other, Haruta, or themselves, they won't get interned (locked in security) with their memories erased.
Although, it depends on their reaction to their own body, because consciousness and shock of the mechanical transplant cells could cause bugs.

Thus, wishing to better support his friends, Haruta asks if he could become an employee of the Future Labratory.
With that, he could know where they are at all times, while comprehending the mechanical cells better.
Director Mitsuba reveals that if he does become an employee, that secures his memories from ever being erased, but... Mitsuba doesn't recommend it.

Mitsuba then repeats himself of really not recommending it.
Except, he does confirm that it is possible. Looking at his right palm with a diagonal scar, he sympathizes with Haruta in not wanting to forget about his loved ones.
They then finish their talk after Mitsuba tells Haruta to ask again if his mind hasn't changed with even stronger emotions in wanting to become a Future Labratory employee.

Haruta then reunites with Izumi, eating lunch together.
Kozuki told Izumi that Ichika was completely unarmed. Izumi then questions in wonder what Kozuki meant by "Is there anything else that you're interested in regarding Kurotane-san?"
I hope that's not romantic implication and more Kozuki verifying if Izumi is realizing his body is similar.

Izumi is fully aware of how Haruta is a terrible liar, so he's hurt for being lied to.
So, he confronts him and asks, "Hey, Haruta. Is there something you're hiding from me?"
Izumi then expresses that he's fine whether it's nothing or he doesn't want to tell him, but he's not fine if it's something that only Haruta and Ichika are aware of, suffering alone.
Haruta, of course, denies it. Feeling guilty, as the only one who's "left out".

"The less you know, the better." - Director Mitsuba.
... I wonder what he's been through...
I guess he had a loved one himself who was on the early cell transplants or before it was created.
Maybe he was even possibly involved with ReLIFE somehow, and later became a Future Labratory employee.
... Poor trio of friends. I wonder how conflicting their relationship will become, or how chaotic their life will be from the troubles of their unnatural bodies.

Damn, Izumi thinks he's the one being left out, but in reality Haruta carries the burden alone. And Ichika doesn't suspect a thing? Guess ignorance really is bliss. Thanks for the chapter!
