Surprisingly, Miyamori's hate for Ichika seems to have already started cracking after Ichika complimented her cooking when she shared her homemade lunch.
I don't know if Miyamori's heart flutter symbolizes basic shock of joy, or subtle lesbian love... Regardless, what a tsundere.
Afterwards, with Ichika wanting to continue the full day one-on-one training with Miyamori, she decides to stay for overtime with her.
Which, of course, worries, Haruta, causing Director Mitsuba to reassure him that he'll drive her home, while Izumi notices the text message, and teases Haruta whether he's worried or jealous that someone else will protect Ichika.
Very short chapter, but two things are clear.
Izumi is sharp, so he'll find out sooner than later. Same goes for Miyamori who will become a friend eventually.
... I understand Haruta's trauma and overpotection towards Ichika, which I don't mind too much, but I really hope there's never any romantic implications between them.
From the start, the bond feels like powerful friendship, and not romantic at all,
so it'd feel very weird and unrealistic if the story shifts to pairing them or creating a love triangle/polygon.
They're hinting at it with mentions, but it could simply be common misassumptions, because as friends, they truly don't and will never have romantic feelings for each other. I hope.
Childhood Love Triangles are incredibly boring and annoying. I'd hate it.
