Guessing Izumi hasn't be reinjured as much as clumsy Ichika so his nanomachines aren't as active

Haruta finds Izumi with a cut on his finger back home where they live together.
Izumi claims he was practicing cooking, even though he's a bad inexperienced cook, and Haruta hasn't realized he's lying yet.
(... Izumi's first test hypothesis has seemingly failed. He wonders if Ichika's healing ability is superior, but I think it depends on the affected past injury, which I think from Ichika is clearly her left leg. Izumi's probably isn't his right hand, so it had no abnormal affect).
Conflicted, Izumi wants to help Haruta by knowing, but stops himself due to Haruta continuily denying and looking sad whenever Izumi tries.
As for Haruta, recalling last night, the same thing that crossed Director Mitsuba's mind that Ichika is like a normal human crossed his mind as well when he was carrying her.
... As the trio are heading to work on the subway, Izumi lets a reply slip as if knowing of Ichika being driven home by Director Mitsuba, which he shouldn't know.
Both Haruta and Ichika think up excuses to put logic in the situation for later.
Meanwhile, Ichika is stressed and worried of having slept in the director's car and is eager to apologize.
(Well done from Yayoi Sou in slowly building the plots with future twists and turns, with a lot of foreshadowing)
