Looks like it's going to be nanomachine adult ReLife with extra steps. Wonder what the reveal is.

Ah. Fascinating. "Mechanical Cell Transplant".

12 Years Ago they all received this for free, for research as it is on testing. It can create prosthetic limbs that look and function exactly like humans.

By "Future Labratory", five employees are present, with all three mothers of the children, but Ichika's as the only focus.
With Motsuba Sosuke and Kozuki Tomoe present from the Obstervation Division.
The claim is that "any damage can be repaired", [...]"without any scars or aftereffects." but they'll be monitored and supervised.
Assigned to designated schools and workplaces. With staff in the organization acting normal.
(So most likely every single staff at their job is from Future Lab.)

With the "promise" that they will be able to "live out their future."
... but there are downsides which aren't revealed to us.

Based on Ichika oddly falling off the stairs now from the result of her little injury before heading to work today... it seems she's originally legless of one limb, or possibly both legs, because the mechanical limbs seem to be sensitive and nimble, because since they were children they were excluded from anything dangerous.
No doubt to keep them safe and unexposed of their mechanical limbs failing.

Another hint to Ichika being legless is how her mother was extremely worried for her, simply from the unsafe heels she was going to work with. Along with the fact that unlike her male friends, she's refrained from living alone.

Anyway. After their first day, Ichika went out to drink with the guys to rant, and Mitsuba came in, who tracked them via GPS.
Both were calm and confident with their director for the most part, but particularly Izumi was the most chill one who invited the director to sit with them, Haruta was a bit nervous and flustered.
As for Ichika, internally she feels inferior to her male friends for being immature and inadequate compared to them.

It does feel like it's taking a ReLife with a more adult premise. A bit weird having the childhood friends, backstory and even the Director and Senior roles revealed already but maybe it's taking a different approach than Relife.

Great reflexes on the boys, observing their friend tumbling down the stairs.
