Interesting... so, Haruta gained the trauma of responsibility from guilt to protect his friends from being hurt again, from his mother's demand, along with Ichika's mother who seems to have revealed the truth in some form or another to Haruta that if they're exposed, they'll be sent to internment, while the parents will have their memory erased which Ichika's mother insinuated to Haruta on the phone (in the past) when discussing on why Ichika continues to live with her, while (btw, in secret from Ichika) Haruta and Izumi live together.
It's intriguing how his mother and Ichika's mother, in some manner or another has placed Haruta in this secret protective role of high responsibility to keep his friends safe to avoid them being locked out of even less freedom and never seeing their family again, in high private supervision. "Internment".
It's weird considering how mature Izumi seems, but apparently, as even he agrees with Haruta, Haruta is the most reliable out of the three.
He learned to cook, and drive, while his friends haven't.
Potential future inferiority complex, or at least just an addition to frustration of their restricted lives compared to Haruta.
