Uke is used in LGBTQIA+ world as well as outside. (It was something I asked my teacher a while ago, since I was curious). Ootsuki says "uke" in kana which has a double interpretation, both as "bottom" and "hilarious". My "ninja chaos assistant" helped me out with contextualization in next chapter because "uke" popped up again and I was, "What's your problem, dude?". Sorry for the spoiler if someone hasn't read it yet.

What can I say? I have to suspend my opinion, but since I previously sort of quoted GoT, the more I delve into it, the more I find myself muttering... (Points at the GIF)

i guess 'bottom' /submissive could technically be a gender neutral term, i've heard neko/tachi being used too not sure if it's the same for lesbian couples
