Those inscriptions at the back in Page 15 look like the Pokémon Unown letters lol.

So basically, their god was doing their best to quell the curse throughout the land, helping humans which would in turn reduce the abuse towards tsugumogami, yet they stabbed that god in the back when he was at his weakest.

They then proceed to plot against another god, all for their own gain, which would cause more turmoil as the curse would no longer be managed, which would only make the lives of humans worse, and result in an increase of abuse towards tsugumogami…
yet their convinced they’re in the right because “we’ve been abused by humans!”…

Ngl, they’re not much better than their former masters. Backstabbing their god who was doing their best to manage the curse and simply wasn’t able to help at that time, and then plotting to kill another god for their own selfish gain, not to mention in-fighting as some plan to kill the fortune telling crystal girl.

Also, what’re they gonna do after they’ve ran out of gods to kill?
Honestly, if they were frustrated against humans, they should’ve targeted said abusive humans and helped the god manage the curse, since exorcists hired by said god are supposedly meant to befriend their tsugumomo in order to become stronger through awakening.

At this point, they have zero right playing victim, they‘re the ones making problems.

It literally says they went to the gods first no? While it isn't the best solution, getting turned away by the god of the land in your time of need must not have left them with much choice in the matter. Not to mention the humans you speak of were driven by personal gain while these guys are trying to survive. Hard to expect them to care about morality when they're dead.
