Also, I’ve had this feeling since the earlier chapters but Chisato’s presence has always been odd. She was around at random times and provided nothing to the story. Never understood her purpose. I am assuming she will be written out of the story at some point

I’m a year late, but if you haven’t gotten to that point yet, Chisato and the rest of Kazuya’s friends won’t be so prominent later in the story.
