welp i knew this was coming, author was placing to many redeemable qualities on the hero. like she would randomly say she wanted to only protect him. honestly i thought she would just turn out to be a giant yandere but ig it being a demon works as well

Do you really take this design seriously? Bring me someone like Veil instead (my fav loli iland one of my fav dragons).

It's always a bummer when they do a cop-out with the antagonist. Why is it with kicked from the hero party stories with a male guild leader they usually stay an asshole and don't get redeemed, sometimes even becoming worse, but with these stories they often end up having some sappy back story that redeems them. It's so infantalizing to female characters that they can't just become and stay jerks, and always have to have some sort of redemption arc instead.

I honestly don't read the female redemption type of story often. So far I can only think of three maybe (including this one). Point some to me.
