I know this looks confusing out of nowhere but LN has no romance between the two (not "slow burn" shit either, stop the copium) volumes on end so i kinda vent my anger after seeing this scene visualized in manga form

Did you actually read the LN? I just read the LN. It's similar as the manga. They do love one another it just slow. Maybe you only seen the WN version.
