I really like the small bit of show don't tell here, it shows that the capital center looks like a medieval setting in the background. While the sburb where Half and AssMom was screwing shit up looked a lot more modern. Shows the difference between how people with Mana lives vs those without em.

Exactly! the characters and plot are surprisingly good too, way better than your usual kicked out of party manga. I just wish the author would tone down the acid trip comedy a bit.. sometimes it's too much.

Good to know man, but no spoilers for me please. It's annoying at times but I'm really enjoying the story and how the characters and arc intertwines. The comedy is spot on too aside than the totally overboard stuff, and the mc being total donkey sometimes.
