Reading this chapter again I see what has happened to Setchin. Though he had no special gifts like Vil or his grandpa, he used that as an excuse to not workhard or learn from his father who also didn't have gifts but still had his own clients. He just let himself stew in his jealousy and never learned anything about blacksmithing. Those who do not do anything just because they have no super gifts in it but still think they deserve to have it, don't deserve sympathy.
