To be honest, I feel like wings would be such a pain to deal with, it's very common for depictions of wings on characters to have feathers fall, but if that happens 24/7, think of the mess you'd have to clean up every day, and that's just for the ones with light shedding, with heavier shedding, it's practically impossible to clean.
