Reading these comments gives me a feeling like having someone faithful to you to care for you and be cared for in return is something bad.

Like it's bad when someone good, kind and in some ways capable "rescues" someone as good and king from the slavery, which existed since prehistoric times and exists nowadays, just often in more subtle, indirect ways.

Like it's such an easy thing to find someone truly dependable to be there for you even on your rock bottom, like there is no epidemic of loneliness in the "western" world (Japan included), like levels of infidelity, promiscuity and divorces aren't going through the roof.

Otherwise, I'd probably understand these people. But this trope isn't so widespread for nothing. And it will only get more popular in near future, alongside with android wives, isekais to the world with traditional village-like values, etc.
I don't mind slavery existing in fantasy worlds. Its logical for it to exist. However, what I don't like is when the MC actively plays into the trope with buying slaves. If it was depicted as the MC freeing the slave for the sake of freeing them rather than having buying them for the sake of buying a slave, I'd be perfectly fine with it.
Speed Grapher in 2004 said that JP already has rampant slavery underground, like what happened to the main villain Suigintou. Didn't know slavery is now a commercial industry in Japan just because they are a dying country ( negative birth rate due to condoms and abortion and especially artificial inflation ).

Adding [slavery] tag is the solution
Honestly I agree with slavery being added as a tag. At this point its so fucking prevalent you should be able to search for it or filter it out. Cause there is no way of getting rid of it. So just make it bareable for the people who don't want to get surprised by slavery.

Why would someone do so? Just because? Any logic behind someone doing so, except for "muh feelings"?
"BuT sLaVeRy Is BaD! BuY aNd ReLeAsE aLl ThE sLaVeS!1! :qq: "
As if doing something like this won't actually increase the demand for slaves, only making things worse.

There is no tag for something like netorare and you want a tag for slavery? In most cases, reading description is enough for guys like you to filter out slavery titles you don't want to read. Including this one.

Man i love stories like this!

Isekai should be about fulfilling our deepest dreams and desired, and the one every single person have is abolishing woman's rights.

When i see woman's rights get taken away i just get a ragging boner. Unlike you weebs who jack off to boobs and tits, i jack off to the concepts of money and power.
Muchakai made a perfect example of that, and for some reason those heroines "love love cum."

First chapter = buy a slave.

That's right, let's try to bring back the most inhumane institution of humanity, but let's make it look cute and willing. Even though it's just rapey. Fucking a. 😰

Disgusting
It was made evil by media to increase the price of slavery. In short, the mass communications helped the industry grow, into a gigantic ring today.

1. The interpersonal dynamics of a Slave and her Master is such that one party holds ALL the power over another, it's not natural.

2. The perspective of "the kind MC rescues a poor damsel from slavery!" is a fog screen. The main point is that the MC is guaranteed to acquire a partner that cannot refuse, and is forced to go along with him.

3. Writing a slave is incredibly easy ans simple. You don't have to work a sweat as to how a woman got together with the MC, nope. Just buy her! Because writing is hard.

TLDR: Slavery as a trope is widespread, becauee it's easy to write, and it's easy to establish a waifu to brainrotted audience as to why anyone would love them (the mc). It also imstantly answers the wuestion: "why would anyone like me?" -- slavery, that's why.

The thing is - the slave is already a slave. So the interpersonal dynamics hugely differ on WHO actually buys you, not on someone being solely a master. Thus it still can become much better or much worse, so it can actually affect how the slave will see their master and how they act around them. And vice versa, good/bad slaves can affect the way they are treated.
And it's not like slaves do not have their characters, traits, etc., making them all different in their own ways. Like, basically, in any other relationships, with certain limitations, of course.
You make it look like each employee in a given company behaves only in a certain way because they have their boss who will fire them, rendering them homeless, ruining their credit story, etc. the very second they do something slightly out of brainless corporate slave character? Or not? Of course not, there are people who are uptight around their bosses, other ones are easygoing and could even befriend them to some extent, while there are some who trade their bodies for benefits. Why do you think slaves should be necessarily different in this aspect?
2. The perspective of "the kind MC rescues a poor damsel from slavery!" is a fog screen. The main point is that the MC is guaranteed to acquire a partner that cannot refuse, and is forced to go along with him.
Of course it's a fog screen, why should it matter for a slave who becomes their master :pacman: Laughable. Also, it is easy to see that this kind of MC won't and couldn't force anything on their slave. I'd even say that someone like that brunette thief slave could easily lead this MC by the nose (and that's why he didn't consider buying her).
3. Writing a slave is incredibly easy ans simple. You don't have to work a sweat as to how a woman got together with the MC, nope. Just buy her! Because writing is hard.
It may be simple, or may be not. Depends on a writer. As if making things simple is necessarily, 100% bad. As if it is not in the nature of humans to pick an easy way, especially if it is good, convenient and effective. Still, it cannot stop a writer to make something complex out of something simple, if they fancy or have skills to do so.
and it's easy to establish a waifu to brainrotted audience
Of course, everyone should want to have a modern day drama instead. Or some naive tropes with the love from first sight, childhood friends, etc. Or some chad MC, who always knows what/how/when to say and to do, like there are no people who may be sick of these?
And it's not like various reverse harem series aren't popular nowadays? Guys turned into dogs/cats/pigs/swords/vending machines? Or it's like there are no turkish, etc. slave harem series for women, which are crazy popular within certain audiences?
Should we ban all these and go with one way which you personally find as the only right and worthy?

The thing is -

You wrote a whole lot, I see the spirit in you to argue and go against the grain, and I boil your entire argument to: "Well it can be shit or it may not, it may be immoral or it may not, maybe or maybe not?"
Your circular what-if-isms is completely avoiding the point, that trying to romanticize slavery is not a good thing, and using slavery in anime is predominantly a lazy writer's tactic thing. Do not try to dance around that, as if you come to these stories for quality storytelling, or as if there's nuance in here. There's none.

And I'm not sure what you tried to say about harem anime, but yes -- they are beyond dumb.

You wrote ...
Coming to comment sections of the titles you consider cheap, lazy and dumb to try and do some virtue signalling, get mob support and try to prove how "cool and righteous" you are talks heaps about people like you.
@FuzzySupernova do you enjoy going onto others profile to dislike posts that have no relation to this manga?
Do you enjoy sticking your nose into other people's discussions and dislike posts without actually contributing something to those discussions or proving your position in the first place?

Public post that can be discredited by average logic is met by public saying this is stupid and immoral*
If you wanted a private discussion with people on forums send them discord friend request or something similar, i do not need to prove my point simply because i made none, i just think that your post about this manga are wrong in general hence the dislike.

You on the other hand went out of your way to snoop on someone's profile to search for post to dislike (that's low) and for some unsuspected reason you don't allow people to leave comments on your profile.

Stupid and immoral - discussion about the manga, which is published as perfectly legal, on a server, dedicated to discussing mangas. Wow, so stupid and so immoral.

The same goes for you as well.

Using the UI provided by the platform to check other people's info, which is created just for that, and give your assessment on it is SO LOW, OMG.
And using the UI provided by the platform to disable the functionality you don't need/want can be considered a crime at this point, not less. Internet is such a dangerous place nowadays, it seems.

It'd be healthier to not engage him more than that.

I expected it but man you people complaining about slaves are fking annoying. Just drop it leave and 1* rating and leave. Stop arguing over fiction jfc.
Slavery isn't fiction my dude.

It's real, is worldwide, and it's horrible.

Romanticizing it super fucked up.

Defending it says a lot about what kind of values one must hold.

Because it's just plain terrible, even without the slavery thing. MC is pathetic, characters behave in nonsensical ways, of course the new hero turned out to be a shitbag, etc. And the art! Some readers are willing to overlook bad writing as long as the artstyle is good, but this one is amateurish, and it really shows.

As for the high bookmarks? Beats me. Maybe some saw it being recommended on the front page and bookmarked it to check it out later, maybe some are hoping it'll get better, while others just enjoy trainwrecks.
