“Bring back”? It never left. It’s still widely practiced in some parts of the world. Slavery did not begin and end with the British Empire and the United States. Doesn’t make it right, but that’s unfortunately how it is. And I do agree: it’s one thing to depict slavery as a tragic part of a fictional world, but another to have primary characters partaking in it without the promise of character development and awakening from the cultural acceptance of it.

No, he really was lost about what to do with his life from that point, as apparently all he ever did was running errands as a hero and he didn't ever think about how to live his life or what he wants to do. Also, seems like he didn't have any friends/acquaintances to join as an adventurer. He also didn't have any common sense about how the world around him really works, so he felt he needed someone to help him with that. So, finding someone with a common sense to join him in doing a regular adventurer stuff was his goal.

Thus, unlocking her memories, and and power.
Now, we SOMEHOW have a strong supportive female character, whose 999% submissive to the MC's sexual desires, and wouldn't bat an eye, if he SOMEHOW increased his 'harem'...

Strangely, most, if not all female characters that hover around the MC are short girls with blond (or old white) hair, with blue eyes. And are SOMEHOW daughters of high standing individuals or are of a "prized" sub-species of human, or ethnicity?

😒 Again, whenever isekai mangas mention "diverse ethnicity", they do their best to include Nazi Aryan at the top (eg: high elves or aristocratic royal family bloodlines).
Followed by the underdog black hair, and black eyed Japanese cultured MC.
With everyone else at the bottom. And convert ALL African or dark skinned characters into a beastfolk, or just litterally "dark-elf" with blond hair...
