True, and likely as a direct result of rushing the translation due to the snipe, I'd assume.
There were still a handful iffy spots on the snipe due to MTL I was hoping a proper translation would fix, but alas.
I wouldn't mind seeing a proper reupload with the time and care this manga deserves ...rather than having to choose between quick MTL with decent spellchecking and wording or someone attempting a good translation but neglecting spellchecking and wording.

Honestly, I take more of an issue with the fact that, while it was in good faith (important), the sniper:
1-used the wrong metric to evaluate abandonness,
2-did not comunicate with the previous group.
The first point feels like a learning experience in scanlation as (like in most situations) the right metric not the first intuition.
But the second one is something that is applicable to relationships, work, and life in a society in general. Sending a message without expecting an answer would have been easy and wouldn't have taken much efforts.

#1 Sniping is putting out a release with the INTENT to steal it from an active group this is not sniping
#2 why should they. if they want to put work into translation and put it up on here it is their right to do so or mangadex would not allow it.


just because you and people like you decided arbitrarily that only one group can work on a series at a time does not mean everyone has to follow your arbitrary rules.

More then one scan is often better then one as translation is not an exact science and comparing two works provides better context for the story.

After reading both translations, I prefer yours actually. The wording came off as more natural. Not that the other translation was bad; on the contrary it was also good, I just liked your wording choices better. Either way, I appreciate the translation, even if it was a 1-off =03.

C'mon you can't just call the little dog Waffles and say he's a hero. it's like saying oh my dog here is Spot, he's the chosen one. Considering they are hiding Tia's ears with that hood, does that mean there are no elves in that world?

I mean, Hades' dog Cerberus roughly translates to 'Spotted One' or 'Speckled', so the three-headed dog of the underworld was essentially named Spot.

My point is if it's good enough for mythology, it's good enough for manga
