Honestly? Maybe if this had been presented BEFORE the whole Prison Arc thing, it would've felt alright, like good reasons and/or backstory.
Sadly the Mangaka's lack of planning -and thinking faculties about how to treat a character that seemed mildly decent- threw every possible reason to like her down the drain. It's just incredibly difficult to Sympathize with her when she spent SO MANY CHAPTERS in the wrong side of things. Really hard to forget about it.
God, it's 2:50 AM, the whole thing made me SKIP AND SKIM through the chapters because of the complete tonal shift and was rancid enough to make my first comment in the whole site THIS. Already this far into this weird narrative, so, whatever.
