Well i read somewhat similar stories somewhere in both scenarios katie and the girl (of that story) does almost same thing
In here what katie does is.
1) she literally let vigor do anything while being total mute for a vice-leader, she will not leave the party because she needs vigor's help for earning.(No wonder other members left when vigor got out she doesn't have enough mental capacity to he a leader)
2) but still had the audacity to claim she will fight back if anyone retaliates against vigor.
She knew what was about to happen to denys restaurant.
3)she literally took on a job where she was aware that isabella was planning a coup.(Completely disregarding what 3 girls may face if it failed which failed).
4)she was assisting a coup while unlawful prisoning her friend while also accusing him for not returning to a party where he was banished on false charges as her reason for not helping any time throughout the series while claiming she WILL HELP(lmao).
5))she literally heard isabella ordering her son to torture bachelle while still not doing anything.
5)she tried her best to kill her friend's mother but she lost.
6) after her loss she was ordered bring isabella's son ,(if order was not given bachelle would have been tortured brutally).
7)she did all this while she was in love with denys and literally no one forced her.
8) she switched side, made sorry and crying face and gets forgiven
In another similar story(but mc is weak) (can't remember name of the story, it was pretty long)
A girl is also does almost similar things(she also had her childhood period like katie),
1)mc get falsely charged, by his team leader.
2) the girl literally kills mc's sick father by agreeing ordering to stop his medicine (she followed the plan made by mc's team leader willingly saying it's mc's fault for not accepting his fate and being quit).
3)mc is got his adventurer licence revoked , secretly get kidnapped , tortured and killed behind the scene (the girl knows)
4) mc survives by luck but his whole body is damaged and bent in places
5) the girl all this while she was in love with mc.
5) at the end truth is revealed the girl make sorry face and cries but get sent to prison and ultimately dies.
Stories changes just by one being strong
In one since mc and his parents were weak he lost everything including his father and mother.
In this since denys and his mother were strong they survived
The girl and katie both loved mc and d the whole time , but both tried to kill mc's friend , parent and mc too , both associated with evil group
