I mean it is pretty much a wish fulfillment slop still. She literally did all the work without losing that smug face, not even during sex lol (as all fictional manic pixie dream girls with %100 assertiveness tend to) while he sat there (as the self insert). I think he has a grand total of 5 sentences in the entire thing. But considering she just broke up that very night, he was the rebound so good luck to him.
