Thanks for the new chapter!

Those former assassin sisters are becoming deadlier now that they are not working as assassins (ironically).
Anyway, the anime might actually cover a lot of what the manga has covered right now (it might overtake it and directly use more of the LN's content if ever), especially as it swiftly covers the content it skipped in season 1.

im pretty tired of manga that otherwise have a semi-decent setting but still rely on "levels" and "leveling up" and everything being objectively quantifiable for no reason. it's dumb and it makes your story worse! levels are supposed to be an abstraction over continuously gathering knowledge, experience, advice, etc in a game context for player visibility and ease of simulation. doing it in a manga provides literally zero benefit

Well not sure if the manga already mentioned it but,
"levels" & "classes" were created by Root after hearing about RPG games from an otherworlder. They were not originally part of the world, Root actually messed with the physical laws to make it possible.

I actually really enjoy these side quests/slice of life that this manga sometimes focus on. Nice lore building and make places/ppl more believable.
... Maybe it's time to start on the anime now.

Web novel got a new chapter, and the manga does too. Nice
Just as a general piece of information, the new chapters of the manga always release (in raw form) on the 2nd wednesday of each month.

Not in great detail, but yes the manga mentioned it when Root was visiting the shop. Chapters 87-88 I would guess from the titles.

Also what is this? Meaningful, fun and interesting dialog + things that happen have actually an interesting part to them? Characters not being just plank of woods that spout exposition, with some random quips and sweat marks here and there?!

I was on a half year Manga break and almost all chapters that came out since then, made this guilty pleasure finally get back to having some meat to it's bones. About damn time with such an interesting premise and start.
Well I hope it stays this engaging from now on and doesn't fall into a drought again.

Wait... Didn't Mio and Hibiki already have a send off talk a dozen or so chapters ago?? I thought she left, but she is still there in Tsige? Or am i misremembering reading the WN?

Oh, is the anime going to surpass the manga now? I guess it's not surprising given how much the anime keeps skipping
Yes, but actually no. There are parts that anime (probably) skipped, parts where manga is few chapters ahead and some storylines with anime did before manga.

Having tried the translated VN and the anime because they both are ahead in the story, the manga is the only media this story is even remotely enjoyable. The translated VN is coarse as fuck and the anime is puke worthy.

I liked the visualization of Makoto's mana problem here. He has an ocean of mana regarding capacity but only a garden hose for an output level. Truly a vexing problem.

The quest to recreate curry continues. That was a rare bit of fanservice from Mio, if a bit bloody. Somehow I wasn't surprised to see that she's pretty well-endowed. She won't be losing badly to Tomoe in that department, that's for sure.

It feels uncanny how I just watched ep. 7 of the anime's S2 right before this and several moments here were already covered in that episode. I was kinda surprised given the anime had not yet covered several events depicted here in previous chapters.

OOT

I've a question for LN reader, i Just finished watching the anime for S2. In the last episode about makoto interviewing another race... Why it so different from manga? Cuz there's Gorgon & wing man. Is it Following the LN/WN or it just from the studio tryna to Improvisating it?

I watched the season 2 anime. So far... they seems to condense, switch around, and discard quite a fair amount of contents, when using manga as the based line.
