lol Well said. The author strikes me as wanting Makoto to be the kind of MC who lives by the expression, "I don't really get it, but..." as a mantra--it's just that the story won't allow for it.

That said, it's ridiculous: Makoto, by comparison, is improving my regard of Mio. That shorthair should be second wife, though; Tomoe is tops.
