I agree about the outfit. The goddess made her look like a barbarian than a hero.hibiki's new outfit is ..... so raunchy ..... not a fan personally but whatever toots the authors horn I guess
thanks for the chapter!
As a reader of the novel, Mio's reveal is great, but Hibiki herself isn't. She's my biggest disappointment in the story, but the good news is, the mangaka seems to be changing her for the better, I can't really see this Hibiki doing what she does in the novel which disappointed me here.Remembering that she knows the MC, and if I remember right even admired him in some way (even if not in love with him like some of the girls in his flashbacks), I wonder when she will meet him again. From remembering her thoughts when meeting the goddess, there is a chance she will join his group maybe?
Also, I'm still waiting for when she finds out Mio's past life.
She seems to take that as the strongest opponent she would ever face, but from how Mio reacted when she asked if those creatures some chapters ago were more dangerous than her Mio seems to not even be trying to hide it, it just never came up as far as she is concerned.
I've read fan translated novel. Makoto & Hibiki meet eventually in Rotsgard.Anyone have any spoilers for when the hell they will meet? If so, please do enlighten me.
Super far in the future they have a sort of meeting/passing
Hibiki gets a power up that is a super charisma charm, the more she’s around people the more they want to support her causing her to get stronger. It starts to charm Lime and he considers joining her team when they are swarmed by monsters. He wipes the swarm in a single hit that’s when he notices Hibiki. After that far in the future they ”spar” but he curb stomps her in the in front of some important people
As I remember, he is the adventurer's guild master managing the guild. He should make an appearance shortly before (if not earlier) Makoto go to meet the demon lord. But seriously, where the hell is Root?!
His first appearance is here, just before the arc of the competition, he is there and even helps Makoto. He should appear next few chapters, but it's taking too long.As I remember, he is the adventurer's guild master managing the guild. I don't remember that curb-stomping thing (I stopped reading when author was having a looong pause and haven't got back to it). But I do remember Hibiki offering a marriage to Lime and he refused. Don't want to marry a hero. Baka!
Man, I've read until chap 400, and despite not being sure where the story is by now, Hibiki wasn't in a position to express any feeling for anyone even remotely related to Makoto. If you mean their time together, she only sees him as a possible companion, not a love interest. At least in the novel she is the last person I could consider falling in love with someone, even Tomoki would be easier to believe, fortunately, it seems the mangaka is changing her here and fleshing her out more, I hope she doesn't become as cold-blooded as she is in the novel, at least I can't see it happening here after everything we were shown.Unfortunately, calm your expectations:
She falls in love with Lime.
Hmm sorry to disappoint but this manga is after the LN so they flesh her out is just normal for a LN adaptation so therefore the mangaka didn't change anything besides the outfit.Man, I've read until chap 400, and despite not being sure where the story is by now, Hibiki wasn't in a position to express any feeling for anyone even remotely related to Makoto. Seriously? Because as it stands right now, I can't really see her doing that. She is clearly keeping the worldview from Japan here, I doubt just Mio pointing this out that she should be a little more selfish is going to change that much. It'd be really a 180°. Anyway, let's wait and see, I didn't read the novel since it seems nobody is translating it, but if they do the same as in the webnovel, it's better they actually do a pretty good job exploring this change of mind, or it will feel forced.Hmm sorry to disappoint but this manga is after the LN so they flesh her out is just normal for a LN adaptation so therefore the mangaka didn't change anything besides the outfit.
Also no she won't change, she will still become that horrible person because this story never changes a lot and is mostly the same with some improvements so don't expect Hibiki to be "better " she might just become less hated but i doubt that.
I think that’s kinda the point, currently it shows her allegiance with the goddess, which is very uncomfortable and goes against her principles but she will do it anyway because she feels pressured into it. She feels like she needs to do it, she has to be the hero she wasn’t quite ready to be yet. And the way she, and the rest of the goddesses allies dress and act is in stark contrast to Kuzunoha and the rest of the Demi plain. Everyone who opposes the goddess, or is at least shunned by her can dress and act however they want, because unlike humanity they won’t get anything from doing what the goddess wants.hibiki's new outfit is ..... so raunchy ..... not a fan personally but whatever toots the authors horn I guess
