Okay, I think I was engaging with this title in the wrong fashion.

It seems more like it's meant to be almost a series of vignettes that are mostly self-contained, of his time within the Domino Room and her showing up to do whatever it is she's set out to do that chapter. They banter, lots of teasing toward him, and then there may or may not be a small excursion that's mostly montaged where he leaves the room and then the chapter ends.

There's clearly an overarching timeline (since the month and whatnot is mentioned at the start of the chapter), but I think I was expecting a more traditional narrative-focused story, and it seems that's not the intent here.

As a series of chapters that just show interactions but aren't primarily meant to push character arcs forward (it's happening to a degree, but it's not the focus), this is a fun one, though.

I kinda thought it'd be very cool if it took place entirely within his club room after the first chapter setting the stage with his introduction in class, but that also might not be doable long-term, without really straining the amount of available content with such a limited setting.

So kinda like Gichi harem? (I watched the anime but never read the manga, but with how the anime flowed it felt more like as u described. A series of flashback/reminiscent vignettes ultimately leading up to the current day.)
