No wonder it ended in 33 chapters. Author in-ability to progress was amazing.
Basically speaking author was standing still for 10-15 chapters. Stretching the story, author shot himself with making them married from the get go, because most Japanese authors only can make pre-dating mangas. Even during these short 33 chapters author stumbled upon his own story: We aren't even dating/bf-gf, like is marriage a joke to you? I think almost anywhere in the world marriage supersedes dating.

In any case author overused one troupe: Not being direct and running in circles. I think he even trolled us or the publisher decided to become his "friend" who outright told him "Dude, she likes you". The ending was the most disappointing thing. In essence his "trauma" is BS.

Honestly for me it started out an 8/10 and just slowly killed itself. The ending is terrible and actually made me mad and pissed me off. Minato is denser than a fucking black hole and Riko is just unwilling to clear up any misunderstandings because.... idfk. Also felt like there was gonna be a side story with Minatos and Rikos friend but just got never expanded on or was just nothing to begin with. Author was using the same concept of Riko showing affection and Minato just being unreasonably dense. Although it was understandable in the beginning it just dragged on for all of the 33 chapters and never actually got lifted. Honestly dissapointing it ended like that cause it had good art and good writing in the beginning so if author just progressed their "fake marriage" to a "real dating" it would have probably playd out better.

TL;DR
Overall 4/10 was enjoyable in the beginning and just a chore to finish it

First of all in almost all comments everyone saying oh mc is dense as... Dense like that dense like this but its dumb with all my honesty. She literally leads every conversation to misunderstandings. When she be honest about something she wanted he immediately did it, for example sleeping together when there is thunder or being a group in field trip. Aside from those she didnt even show honesty even one time. The problem is you all are commenting this according to your view of the story with knowing everything but thats wrong bc u should first put yourself in the mc's place to understand. He has a trauma he doesnt remember talking to a girl named riko when he was a little toddler, second she says oh he already rejected me but we learned that she was in a fckng bear costume all the time. Everything she does is misleading the whole marriage thing started bc it looked like she needed a contract marriage to stay in japan he made it happen and staying away from her bc its a fckng contract marriage. All she had to do was saying one of these "minato-kun we met in kindergarten and the boy i loved since then was you", "minato-kun that bear costume girl was me i have always loved you" or "this marriage may started with a contract for me to stay japan but i had another motive bc i loved you all this time" all of these leads to the ending she wanted. But always somehow she avoided all of them and at the end kisses him out of nowhere. So is he dense? May be a little but considering he had trauma about it and doesnt want her to hate him i consider it more normal than what she does. She clearly shows affection to him but then says oh my childhood kindergarten friend i love him, again shows affection and says oh i love someone else and proceed to talk about him how he looks in her eyes which isnt how mc sees himself or should i say exact opposite. He cant match him with that. So yeah with this shitty axed ending i can say it started as 9 or something but through the chapters it gradually reached around 3-2 to me. Luckily its not too long thats why i dont say anything like dont read it or whatnot but i dont recommend this especially bc its axed. Bc if it had more time i sure, even though its going annoying, they would have reached somewhere where one of them clears things a little and everything comes after it like a rope. For all the people talking about ntr shit, you r right about cuck mcs but didnt u notice that the girls in those stories are just dumb too? They dont show any feeling whatsoever just to say later on "oh i loved him but well what can i do since i have this big thick girthy d*ck i worship as a pet".
