(sorry this is long) its not about him living with his wife again man. she's literally way too young. rbecause of the reincarnation she's physically too young and this will cause problems both interanally (within the og family) and externally (this 50 yearold man is hanging out alone with a elementary age girl who hes not related to. he doesnt even know her family), the time they spend together should be limited (and shouldve already stopped at this point) and i absolutely agree with the wife's perspective of 'i only came here to say goodbye. please get urselves together' He's not seeing that and thinks that this is his chance to be happy with his family again, but that's not the case. The fact that he ISN'T more self aware is a hazard to not only himself but to his reincarnated wife AND his daughter. even if the whole 'waiting till shes 18' thing happens, the dudes going to fucking die while his wife is in her prime again. so what? leaving her behind is better? And honestly? what about this girls (new) biological family? You really think she's going to fuckin leave them? The wife has all the fuckin self awareness in this manga (even tho she a bit dumb for feeding his desire for a reunited family), and probably wont run away from her bio family. She's this family's daughter. She's no longer the wife of some 50 year old office worker.

I hope he fuckin gets himself together cause if the wife never interacts with him again cause of this occasion i wouldn't be surprised. But knowing its a manga, anything can happen.

It's also pretty fucking weird of him to look at his wife's reincarnated body and be like 'yeah we'll get married again WHEN U TURN 18'. Like, even if he's not thinking about it sexually it's still fucking weird. He's indulged himself for long enough. Get it together dude.

This manga isn't about the old guy finally getting back together with his dead wife, and starting the family over again, or whatever. It's about moving on after a SO has passed away.
For the most part it seems like the daughter has moved on. I'm sure she enjoys the company of her mother, but she seems to be fixing herself back into a proper member of society on her own.
The father, on the other hand, is too obsessive. He doesn't seem to want to grasp the fact that his wife isn't technically his anymore. He has this sort of tunnel vision where all he sees is bringing back something that can't exist anymore. He is going to get a heavy and hard slap in the face eventually.
I do lay some blame on the mother, however. She knows she needs to live a new life with her new family, but she keeps giving into her husband's demands. She either doesn't realize that she is hurting him in the long run or she is more worried about what will happen to him without her. Either way, with her around the father isn't going to make any progress with getting over her death. She's just going to push his assistant onto him and go back to her new family.
