Doesn't seem like she's as confident as she used to be due to her current life situations.
Sucks that the husband doesn't know about this and probably can't do anything about it due to... FBI.

It's nice to see their interactions, thoughts, & inner realizations. I get some mental exercise since some of the stuff makes me think about my own experiences.

And from getting to know more about how they got so close.. it could make the widowing strike much, much harder for incoming readers...*evil laugh...
