Was that scene even necessary though? It's not anything sexual so it's nothing to worry about, but I can get why people were put off by it, imagine if something similar happened to Komi?

Later on we find out he could've just bitten her arm or use bloodpacks

Also the reason it felt like NTR bait was because the author chose to depict it as such with the imagination panel.

Honestly, I'll still continue reading to see where the story goes but that panel is pretty obviously NTR-baity, especially after finding out that it originally didn't even have that text saying it's just in his imagination.

Arguments arguing that people seeing it that way are just disgusting, creepy incel nerds just strike me as either holier-than-thou posturing or just being upset about people being negative about a series they like.

At the end of the day, this is a manga written by a human who is including a romance element in their story and perfectly understands how humans reading it would see that scene as intimate (and it's literally drawn to look intimate.) Also, as manga readers (or just anyone acquainted with vampires in fiction in general), we should be well acquainted with how vampires drinking blood from the neck is portrayed with sexualized undertones (and sometimes even overtly.)

And being put off by a heroine being portrayed in an intimate moment with someone other than the love interest isn't just being upset that "their waifu isn't pure." Even in romance stories where the female love interests aren't a virgin, being intimate with someone else while there is development of a relationship is seen as skeezy. Like even if you're OK your partner had other partners, a normal person would only be ok with it if that's all just in the past.

A bit late but some of my thoughts.
I like this chapter. Mostly because of how it plays with expectations. The Vampire kid seems like a jerk (and he kinda is) so it feels strange for Tsumiki to agree to it. But from her perspective this is just a hungry person asking for food. Up till now Tsumiki has always had a very unguarded approach to physical intimacy between others including boys. So while Yutaka sees this moment as inherently romantic, Tsukimo doesn't. And the reason he apologizes is because he felt guilty about judging and perverting something that may be normal into something more. I feel like a big source of his jealousy not simply being the act of bloodsucking itself but the knowledge that he isn't special. She hasn't been making exceptions for getting close to him a la the "let's get along" sniff that made him want to get closer. She is like this with everyone. And whether he realizes it or not, he hates the idea of that closeness not being unique to just himself.
Can't say I read enough NTR for this to read as NTR but i consume a lot of romcoms and this feels like textbook "character reanalyzes his feelings after getting uncharacteristically jealous."
