Josei smut is when the MC fucks the ML on the first night out of her own whim and then proceeds to date him rather awkwardly, but with confidence that is representative of a girl who's ok with one night stands. In this:
- MC is a virgin
- MC is only good in fucking - romance quotient is ZERO
- MC has no willpower of her own

Thus, alas, this is not josei smut - it is seinen smut with a genderswap between the MC and the reader for extra titillation. Or maybe shoujo smut, but I don't think that this term exists.

Bear in mind - it is still quality smut. But I was actually looking for JOSEI today and I find this overwhelmingly lacking in that regard.

Smut is about explicit sexual activities and sexual fantasies. And is a tag extremely related to female demographics. There is even people who think that male demographic titles should not even be tagged as "smut" cause is a shojo/josei thing alone. And is not about anything else. The characters can develope any kind of relationship, and the plot can be deep or lacking.

With that out of the way, I am absolutely in favor of calling this smut - cause it is smut galore. What I am contesting is this being tagged as JOSEI - cause it's just too stupid of a plot and of an MC to be conceivably targeting an "of age" female audience and playing the abhorrent tropes, that the MC embodies, straight.
