Having experienced the relationship problem that the MC and FMC is having with my ex. My only tips is to Talk. About. It, and not one sided-ly feel uncomfortable. Because ignore it too long and one side can become distrustful without knowing the truth and eventually will leads to constant fight, and break up usually is just waiting in the corner.

It's much more easier to talk in this situation because both are committed to the relationship. Because being a couple that want to last long, means that you will need to communicate 24/7 if i have to say, and never hide anything that will jeopardize your relationship and your partner trust.

the protag's inner struggle, despair, feelings of jealousy and doubt put this in the NTR zone.

It's classic NTR suffering 101, even down to the protag crying alone wondering what their partner did, or is doing at the moment.

Getting the partner stolen is not a requirement for it to have the same mood as NTR, it's the pain and suffering that makes it so.

Yep you are correct, the protags are just victims of the true culprit in this fiasco, the ex guy who is purposely maliciously implanting these negative emotions out of spite.

I appreciate how Shinohara tells Yuuri that the past doesn’t matter and it comes full circle. I was so happy for him to also realize that he’s fooled around with other girls too.

I think it sucks that Yuuri is made to be some unhinged person because the girl has sexual desires. Like jerk-what’s-his-name participated in that too. So what. Yet, somehow Shinohara is suppose to be worried about Yuuri?

Poor Yuuri. Because of jerk face, she’s avoiding Shinohara and made to feel like she did something wrong. Whatever his name can rot in hell. Especially after also asking for a threesome?? And it seems like he told the other girl who went to meet him? Yeah, no redemption arc for him. He goes straight into the trash bin.

Given how Shinohara hugged Yuuri and comforted her, I still feel like this is a gem and wholesome manga! It’s a fresh take that not all teenage girls need to be chaste and that it doesn’t make them any less worthy of affection!

1. This isn't NTR like you said. 寝取られ is a precise word, it's not a "feeling" and therefore it's not NTR.
2. Kazuki could be seen as someone who is trying to protect his friend. Shinohara has always been flippant about dating girls, so why would it be any different with Yuuri? To Kazuki, Yuuri could seen as someone who is just fooling around with boys + Shinohara. I don't see him as petty at all, but possibly someone just trying to warn his friend about getting into a serious relationship with someone who possibly is just looking to mess around with him. Was the delivery ideal? No. Was it important for Yuuri to know? Yes.

Personally, I want Kazuki to remain a friend that realizes that Shinohara and Yuuri are truly in love with one another and hopes for their relationship to last.

Proper communication? Doing that before it's almost too late is a lil too OP for manga characters
