It's the main reason I stopped reading manga.
If it works, they'll drag the story for years. And once they get less popular, they bullshit the end because they weren't prepared for it.

I wouldn't mind if the author didn't stall the story for years.

Personally I am just happy it end. I already lost interest in this manga and I continue to follow it only to see the end.

The author just took a big dump at the very end of his story and not only that, but he had an opportunity to change it for the light novel series. Obviously he didn't, so I have no respect for this writer who doesn't give a fuck about giving a satisfying conclusion to their story.
