First paradoxically if he has the Dragon heart crystal thingy. Then it shouldn't exist elsewhere in the world which thus means the demon lord won't kill everyone anymore because he has no reason to.

Thus MC can just sit back. He also definitely didn't even ask for his birthday gift which obviously should of been "I don't want anything but you for my birthday". "I ate that delicious food you made but I'm still so hungry so I'll just have to eat you up as well".

If there is NOW 2 dragon hearts. MC could just redo same events grabbing the heart after killing the demon lord. Of course you can't say for certain the result would be the same.

The dragon's heart probably reverted the state of the universe instead of sending MC back in time or to parallel universe, that might be why he still has the stone. So there should really only be one copy of it, but the dragon's heart was possibly not in his possession in previous run either and he hunted for it, so MC will probably be hunted by demon lord and his horde for the stone, so he definitely can't sit back.
