So instead of going with the "Princess is secretly evil" plotline that was set up with the marketing child gimmick they decided to just say the king was scared his daughter would be good at her job as queen and thus needs to die so a prince who is bad at his job will destroy his own kingdom. What the fuck kind of reasoning is that.

First it was Zentos unnecessary death, and now king Remonas stupid reason to kill his own daughter, because she would surpass him as sovereign, did he get senile or what? A parent feeling inferior to his own offspring... Wow

Meh. Also, why the need to be a hero?
It doesn’t give you any buffs, only connections.

@StarGasm @Drinkfist: Well i guess, the King wanted to leave his name in history, and become eternal, that way.

I mean, the Kingdom fell into doom when the Prince was the ruler (in the destroyed timeline), so everyone in the future would only remember that, the previous King was the better King, and people would remember his name.

Its all about the concept of how someone tries to stay famous even after their death.

Actually Morose they just said the kingdom fell when the King was the ruler but SAME logic still applies. He simply didn't know that in the near future he'd still fuck everything up.

Page 20. Foolish idiot didn't ally with friendly short drunkards instead letting everyone die.

... this... is a bit of a stretch... unless the King was somehow corrupted years ago...

I think it make sense, some people would like to be remember as a great king and jealousy could sort of extend to your child.
