I am so hoping this isn't another one of those stupid stories where the humans were the baddies all along and the demons were only acting in self-defense, I really am. I'm so sick of those stories.

Seran is very quickly becoming my favorite character.

So demon assassin kills multiple officials, leaving only Kail as a witness. And now human assassins are trying to take out the rest of the group? I wonder if the demon hired them to slow down any pursuit/search Kail might try?
